Leatherman Golf Learning Center, located just south of Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, is a complete state-of-the-art practice and golf instruction facility. The Center, opened in 1999, is a full service golf facility that fulfills players every need to improve their game.
Leatherman Golf Learning Center is a complete practice and teaching facility where you can work on all aspects of your golf game. Our practice range landing area features eight color-coded target greens measured to exact yardages.
There are 10 elevated hitting stations on the upper deck, and 10 private hitting bays on the lower covered patio allowing practice in all weather conditions.
The practice facility has 34 fully adjustable, automatic teeing stations from Power Tee of England. The automatic teeing system is the fastest way to a better golf swing. Makes practice fun not frustrating.
In addition to the hitting stations, there is a large natural Bermuda grass hitting area available for use in-season. Our short game practice areas feature a nine hole undulating natural grass putting green and a two-tiered chipping and pitching green. This area is complete with rough, uneven lies, a sand trap, and has multiple hole locations for practice.
